Leather Leggings, 3 Ways
Do you own a pair of fun pants in your closet? A pair that make you feel confident + a little adventurous? Well, I use to have a pair of disco pants from AmericanApparel that I would wear religiously in college. I loved them — they made me feel slim and sexy. That is until the zipper broke, which was likely caused by too much late-night pizza + dollar beers. Anyway, when the zipper broke, I was actually devastated about it (a tad dramatic, yes) but I got them fixed by a tailor so all was right again. Not. I went to put them back on + the zipper broke… again. Yup, embarrassing… It could have just been a crappy tailor job but I still decided to retire the pants anyway. It was time. *sad tear* I still think about those disco pants from time to time.
Fast forward a couple years, my mom actually gifted me the next pair of pants (technically they’re ~leggings~ but same same) I’d fall for. A lovely pair of faux leather leggings from Love, Fire. I’d go as far as saying they’re my most worn pants in my closet at the moment + what’s better — no zippers! One of the reasons I love them is because they suck you in without being uncomfortable + they’re also so warm since the inside is lined with fleece which makes them even better for the cold weather. In this post, I share three ways I’ve styled the Love, Fire faux leather leggings + maybe it’ll inspire one or two of you. I know that leather may be a little “out there” for some but I think these looks are cute, yet casual for work or school. Hope you enjoy!
first outfit
I paired the leather leggings with a graphic tee, an oversized blazer + some heeled booties.
second outfit
For a colder day, I paired the leather leggings with a knitted turtleneck sweater, a black puffer jacket + my extremely worn black slides.
third outfit
For this look, I paired the Love, Fire faux leather leggings with a men’s button-up under a black tee, black boots + a Baker boy cap.
